I searched for this guide on the internet but didn’t find anything useful for real Black hatters, so I decided to write a short and effective guide for newbies who are going to run campaigns. In this guide, you understand how to warm up Google Ads account to run the main campaign after that or go for a black niche. At first I should say that it’s better to not use new accounts for Black niches because it’s hard and time-wasting sometimes (Your account will get suspended).
What you read:
Why we should warm up new accounts?
As you know, Google is so sensitive to restricted content and ads that it will suspend your account if you don’t know how to start and warm it up. If your campaign is totally white hat, then no need for warming up, but for black or grey niches, we should do it. Warming up an account can help you to get some trust from Google at the beginning, and after 2-3 days of running it, you can focus on your main one.
We call the first campaign “Dummy Campaign,” and every pro in this industry knows this. To create a dummy campaign, you need to follow this instruction as we do for our clients:
- First step: choose a random site on Google SERP that is totally white hat and not having an active ad (like a furniture or fish shop). It’s better to choose from the 9th or 10th page of Google so those sites are actually new and don’t know anything about ads.
- Second step: After finding a real site with a clean history, you should start to create your dummy campaign.
How to create a dummy campaign to warm up an account?
So now I’m going to show you how to create a dummy campaign like a pro. And it’s much easier than you think, so let’s do this!
✅ Step 1 – Find a site for your campaign
Now we need to find a new and clean website for your campaign that has no active ads. Even some sites with more than 2 years don’t have any ads, so don’t be that sensitive. Now we search “Handicraft shop in California” and go to page 8. Before using any site, you can check its authority from Ahrefs backlinks checker and Google Ads panel to check if it has live ads or not.
We said that to select a good site for our dummy campaign we need to consider these:
- It shouldn’t have active ads.
- It’s better to be a new site (1 year).
- It should be totally white hat.
- Check the design (it looks legal and clean).
Step 2 – Setting up an ad campaign
We are not going to have a full tutorial about creating campaigns because warming up is for black niches and noobs should know the basics of Google Ads.So if you don’t know anything about this, please read Google Ads Free Tutorial.
Let’s Start! be aware of low-quality accounts that some of IT gods are making with free VCCs 😀 If you are looking for an agency Google Ads account, then call us today!
1. It’s better to choose website traffic in dummy campaigns.
2. For the next step, you should choose your ad display type.It really doesn’t matter that much, but click on Search. You need to enter your website and click on next!
3. Please choose a name for your campaign. Type something that looks professional, not something random like “gasgagasgag.”.
4. In the next we have bidding strategy and it’s better to focus on clicks with maximum CPC.
5. Now you should choose your advertising networks. Google has some options to get more displays, but we don’t recommend them, 😀 so don’t choose them.
6. In the next step, we need to select related location and language. Our website is from the US, so we chose it as you see!
6. Don’t touch anything else beside the start and end times. For the dummy campaign, 3 days is enough.
7. Now we are into the most important part, and that’s adding titles and descriptions. For a dummy campaign, it’s better to add at least 3 or 4 titles with 2 descriptions so everything will look normal. In choosing titles and keywords, you should consider these:
- Don’t add sensitive keywords in the title, like best, cheapest, first, or everything that says you are the best.
- It’s better to use the brand’s name in titles (every legal brand does this).
- You can add some sitelinks, like contact or about us pages, to get more and cheaper clicks.
- Put your campaign daily budget on $5-$10 with $0.2 CPC.
- Your will get improved in hours, but don’t forget to stop it.
- If you have more budget, then it’s better to keep running both campaigns (Dummy and Main).
Conclusion
